Local business promotes the important role plumbing plays in societal health and amenity

Initiated by the World Plumbing Council, World Plumbing Day was created as an opportunity to recognize the important role plumbing plays in societal health and amenity.

Facts listed by the WPC include the following statistics: 3 in 10 people currently lack access to safe, readily available water at home, 900 million school children across the world have no handwashing facilities, a critical barrier in the spread of deadly diseases, and 6 in 10 people lack safely managed sanitation.
