In March, 14-year-old Caleb Bennett suffered a major brain injury as a result of a boating accident and proceeds from the benefit will be given to his family to cover medical expenses as he continues to recover.

Tournament entry fees will be $125 for six people per boat for the junior teams division, and $250 per 6-person team for adults. Teams will meet on Friday, August 16th for a mandatory “Captain’s Meeting” to discuss rules and tournament information.

During the event, a kids fishing tournament will be held from 9am – 10am for $25 per entry and includes a bucket and a tournament t-shirt. The benefit will feature a silent and live auction with items including a week-long vacation at a cabin in North Carolina, Buccaneers tickets and a 100-hour maintenance service on outboard motors.
