Lowe Morrison Joins Sarasota Military Academy Foundation Board

Lowe Morrison, Managing Principal for Sabal Trust, has recently joined the Sarasota Military Academy Foundation Board of Directors. Sarasota Military Academy (SMA) established the SMA Foundation in 2017 to support the academy in an effort to obtain state of the art facilities and the best technology available for cadets and staff.

“While the Sarasota Military Academy Foundation is new to our Academy, we are thrilled to have such a great board of directors involved and excited about the many opportunities for growth, development and community impact,” said SMA Colonel Christina Bowman, Sarasota Military Academy Executive Director of Schools. “Mr. Morrison is an incredible addition to the SMA Foundation Board and we are excited to have their support, passion and resources as we work towards our mission of molding our next generation of leaders and change makers.”

Members of the Sarasota Military Academy Foundation Board of Directors currently include Chairman Lieutenant General (Ret) Howard G. Crowell, Jr., Vice Chairman Herb Jones, Treasurer Captain (Ret) Frederick M. Derr, Secretary F. Steven Herb, Esq., Alexandra Quarles and Lowe Morrison.

Morrison is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Mote Marine Laboratory Board of Trustees and a trustee of the Frank E. Duckwall Foundation. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
